Advent Evening of Reflection - Ready the Way

Event Description

St. Jerome Catholic Church is proud to welcome Author, Speaker and Musician Jesse Manibusan for an Advent Evening of Reflection.

Jesse’s blend of singing, storytelling and humor, provide for a powerful

approach to catechesis and evangelization for people of all ages. The evening is the perfect way to reflect during this time of Advent as we prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ.

St. Jerome parishioner and International Speaker and Author, Bill Moyer will Emcee the event.

All are welcome to attend. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event. Doors open at 6:15PM.

About Jesse Manibusan:

Jesse Manibusan is a Catholic Lay Evangelizer, who travels the world, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. Jesse holds an MA in Multicultural Ministries from the Franciscan School of Theology, at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. Jesse’s blend of singing, storytelling and humor, provide for a powerful approach to catechesis and evangelization for people of all ages. Jesse blends the organic approach of public speaking with the technical tools of multimedia.    A long time servant of the church as altar server, liturgical musician, music director, youth worker, catechist, evangelizer, retreat director and itinerant witness, Jesse  brings a huge amount of experience wherever he serves.    Jesse presents in elementary schools, middle and junior high, high school, college universities, parish mission, diocesan conference, and countless other events and  celebrations worldwide. Jesse has presented for International World Youth Days,  presided by St. Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and Pope Francis.    In 2014, Jesse was the recipient of the National Catholic Youth Award, category of artist/performer, by the National Federation of Catholic Youth Ministries, Inc.    Jesse also visits retirement homes, nursing homes, as well as jails and prisons. Jesse also visits military families around the world.   Jesse is published by Oregon Catholic Press, and his latest CD, SING OF MARY,  is fast becoming a favorite! Jesse’s has collaborated with artists, Sarah Hart, Steve Angrisano, Tom Booth, Curtis Stephan, Eric Webster, Bob Halligan, Jr., and Santiago Fernandez.
